Hello my dear torchbearer friends!!

“The torch relay experience was incredible. I could not wait to return home and share it with all of you. Although I was in the suburb of Webster Grove outside of St. Louis, I felt all of you near me. I actually needed your strength, since the first 100 meters were flat but the remaining 300 meters were on a 30 degree uphill ( Whew!!! ). Somehow I knew that I would carry the torch high regardless of the challenge. As the flame approached me, I quickly realized that for the next three blocks I would be the sole bearer of the torch and part of uniting the world. The human spirit was indeed all around me and as promised, the flame was held high. I have attached several pictures and I look forward to sharing the torch with all of you.”

Let the Athens 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Games begin!!!!
