Employment - Voc Rehab - Computer Lab RIC’s Vocational Rehabilitation Center Reports Successful Job Placement StatisticsRecognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month in OctoberEach year in the month of October, Congress encourages businesses across the country to heighten public awareness on the talents and accomplishments of people with disabilities in the workforce. In addition to moving to a brand new space at 541 North Fairbanks in March 2012, the RIC Vocational Rehabilitation Center has additional cause for celebration.

The Center reports that it has successfully placed 104 clients in jobs during the period from June 1, 2011, through March 31, 2012. This accomplishment marks a record-setting year for the program as it comes during what is arguably one of the longest recessions in recent history.
