Parkinson’s Disease Amplitude-Based Exercise Class

Parkinson’s Disease Amplitude-Based training is an advanced level group exercise class that incorporates the latest approach to exercise for people with early stage Parkinson’s Disease. The class utilizes high-intensity, multidirectional and repetitive movement to increase endurance, balance and functionality of everyday movements. In addition, participants learn about the effects of Parkinson’s Disease and strategies to improve function.
The class is offered at the RIC Galvin Fitness Center downtown, Zion Luther Church in Deerfield, and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago Day Rehab Center and Outpatient Center - Willowbrook.
