Brain Injury Dialogues is a documentary about brain injury that covers the many invisible aspects of this often-hidden disability. Rick Franklin, a brain injury survivor of 18 years, interviews others with brain injury as well as disability experts. The video shows the wide range of deficits that survivors may face, both physically and mentally, and discusses how no two brain injuries are alike. People in the film also offer helpful approaches to living with a brain injury. Runtime: 52 min. Bonus material (25 min.) features disability scholar Mark Sherry of the University of Toledo speaking at a support group in Oakland, CA. This DVD is available for sale from braininjurydialogues.org.
