By law, children with disabilities are entitled to appropriate accommodations and modifications to assist in achieving and maintaining educational success.

The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) created the Section 504 and IDEA Comparison Chart to show how these federal statues and civil rights laws complement each other.
