This statewide organization is made up of 23 individual Centers for Independent Living (CIL) in Illinois. Through these centers people with disabilities are empowered with knowledge and skills for self sufficiency and full participation in the community.
INCIL provides assistance and information on:

- Employment opportunities
- Personal assistants
- Interpreters for persons who are hearing impaired
- Readers for persons who are visually impaired
- Peer counseling
- Advocacy for individuals and communities
- Reintegration into the community
