Advanced Functional Exercise Approach consists of common functional exercises prescribed after performing a kinetic chain evaluation. The DVD is organized in a bottom-up kinetic chain training approach starting with the foot/ankle/lower leg and ending with the upper extremity. It includes 32 total exercises, 21 lower and 11 upper body. Each exercise includes forms of cardiovascular; proprioception; eccentric; concentric; ROM-dynamic flexibiliity; functional spine stabilization; closed kinetic chain scapula, spine and pelvis exercises. Also included are advanced closed kinetic chain exercises for rehabilitation and training for the scapula. This DVD is not an inclusive list of functional exercises nor intended to be done consecutively. These are general guidelines; please consult a physician before performing any form of exercise especially if pain is involved.
